In her post on X, Meriç Kahraman noted the following:
"November 28, 2024, Silivri, 93rd closed visit: Greetings to everyone from Tayfun. Today is my 136th time coming to Silivri. My husband, Tayfun Kahraman, is being held in prison with an unjustified decision, despite having committed no crime, without a single piece of concrete evidence against him, and as a result of a trial in which he was not tried fairly. Knowing that our rights are being violated, and with our hearts aching, we met for the 136th time, thirsting for justice. As we have persistently explained, at the end of our 136th meeting, we are still waiting for the Constitutional Court to review our file, which is pending before it and the details of which all of Turkey has memorized."
