Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu shared a message on his social media account regarding the forest workers who were martyred in the fire in Eskişehir.
I pray for God's mercy upon our forest workers and AKUT volunteers who lost their lives while responding to the forest fire in Eskişehir; I extend my condolences to their families and colleagues, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
May God grant ease to all teams fighting the fires. May they stay safe.
