Message from Muhittin Böcek: 'My health is rapidly deteriorating: It is a vital, not a legal, issue'
Imprisoned Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek stated that his health condition is rapidly deteriorating, saying, "I am under vital risk, and I do not want to experience irreversible negligence."
Muhittin Böcek has made a striking statement regarding his health condition after 145 days in prison.
Stating that he has been transferred to the hospital for the sixth time, Böcek said that while he previously used 12 medications, he is now trying to stay on his feet with 22 medications.
'IT IS NO LONGER LEGAL'
In a message published on his social media account, Böcek emphasized that his health is worsening day by day:
"My situation has now turned into not just a legal, but also a vital issue.
I do not want to be a victim of irreversible negligence regarding my health.
I hope these lines are heard not only as my voice, but as the voice of law, conscience, and humanity."
