Message from Sinan Ateş's sister regarding Yönter: She posted 'They tell him to stand, he stands; they tell him to sit, he sits' following the resignation in the MHP
Selma Ateş, the sister of former Ülkü Ocakları President Sinan Ateş, who was murdered in Ankara, commented on the resignation of MHP Deputy Chairman İzzet Ulvi Yönter from his party post, stating: 'The resignation of someone who thinks their ego is bigger than their seat can only be like this; they tell him to stand, he stands; they tell him to sit, he sits.'
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Chairman and Central Executive Committee (MYK) member İzzet Ulvi Yönter announced that he has resigned from his post in the party.
In his post, Yönter said, "Due to necessity, I am resigning from my position as MHP Deputy Chairman."
Before his resignation decision, İzzet Ulvi Yönter's post stating, "Agent who has infiltrated the MHP, we are watching you from every angle. What do you know about integrity! Don't worry, we will definitely settle scores with you... Your money won't work either, you steering-wheel-turning scoundrel..." had drawn attention.
Commenting on the resignation of MHP's Yönter via her social media account, Selma Ateş, the sister of former Ülkü Ocakları President Sinan Ateş, said:
"The resignation of someone who thinks their ego is bigger than their seat can only be like this. They tell him to stand, he stands; they tell him to sit, he sits."
