Putin sent his Nowruz greetings to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In these greetings, Putin highlighted the high level of relations with the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries and expressed his belief that mutually beneficial, multifaceted ties will continue to develop successfully.
