Messages of support for Kılıçdaroğlu from CHP deputies: 'It is an attack on the party's values'

Some CHP deputies posted consecutive statements about Kılıçdaroğlu on their X accounts tonight. 

Many CHP members and journalists had reacted against Kılıçdaroğlu, who has been on the political agenda within the framework of the upcoming June 30 congress trial decision. The reactions towards Kılıçdaroğlu also resonated in the public sphere.

Among the deputies who shared messages of support for former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu were İzmir Deputy Mahir Polat, İzmir Deputy Sevda Erdan Kılıç, İzmir Deputy Rıfat Nalbantoğlu, Ankara Deputy Deniz Demir, Kahramanmaraş Deputy Ali Öztunç, Istanbul Deputy Gamze Akkuş İlgezdi, and Aydın Deputy Hüseyin Yıldız.

"SENTENCES UNBEFITTING OF MORALITY"

In his message on the subject, Ali Öztunç said, "We know who is behind this troll attack, which is clearly directed from a certain source. These are the people who, until yesterday, stood with hands clasped at Mr. Kemal's door to attain various positions. Unfortunately, today they are using sentences that do not befit the culture and morality of the CHP. Let it be known that if we are silent, it is out of our gentlemanliness and party loyalty. Yet, we have much to say. I invite everyone once again to act in a manner befitting party culture."

"WE ARE A PARTY THAT GROWS WITH THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE"

Gamze Akkuş İlgezdi said, "The CHP is not a party to be surrendered to anyone's ambition, greed, or calculated games," and continued her words as follows: "Our organization, our mayors, and our deputies should not turn a blind eye to this decay. I would like to remind you that silence is surrender. Silence is complicity in this discord. We are a party that grows not with agendas determined by trolls, paid pens, and commissioned headlines, but with the will of the people."

"NEVER ACCEPTABLE"

Hüseyin Yıldız stated, "The Republican People's Party is not a space for anyone to satisfy their personal ambitions! Unmeasured, immoral attacks against Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who has labored for years in the office of Chairman and kept our party standing on an honorable path, can never be accepted."

"THEY WILL BE DROWNED IN THE SANCTUARY OF OUR PARTY"

Mahir Polat wrote the following regarding Kılıçdaroğlu:

"The honorable march of the nation means the conscience of the orphan. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu means making the Republican People's Party, which could not go beyond Sivas, a party on which the entire nation reaches a consensus. It means being able to shield one's chest against the bullets of terrorist organizations, and walking towards lynchings, assassinations, and death without bowing one's head. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu means making the world's longest justice march for the sake of Right and for the sake of the People. Rest assured that those who attack our 7th Chairman without knowing the party culture and the conscience of my nation will be drowned in the political sanctuary of our party."

"WE CANNOT FIND UNITY BY DENYING"

Pointing to the deep-rooted traditions of the CHP and criticizing the "treatment" of Kılıçdaroğlu, Sevda Erdan Kılıç stated, "The unity of our party is essential for the future of Turkey. However, this unity cannot be achieved by denying our past or belittling our leaders who have labored. On the contrary, it is possible with an understanding that knows its own values, defends these values, and carries them forward."

"ADHERENCE TO PARTY TRADITIONS"

Rıfat Nalbantoğlu said, "The fact that some of our party members make statements against our former Chairman that are contrary to our party traditions, culture, and rules of decency serves no purpose other than deepening the problems our party is facing today. Party integrity can be achieved by remaining loyal to party traditions."

"EVERY SLANDER DIRECTED AT KILIÇDAROĞLU..."

Ankara Deputy Deniz Demir stated, "Let it not be forgotten: Every slander directed at Kılıçdaroğlu is an attack on the values, past, and future of this party. And we are determined to defend these values to the end. As the conscientious soldiers of the Republican People's Party, we will not remain silent in the face of this ugly language and these low-level campaigns."
