Metin Feyzioğlu's post has changed
Metin Feyzioğlu, who made headlines for not greeting CHP leader Özgür Özel during ceremonies in the TRNC, has been reassigned. Feyzioğlu's new post is in Prague.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan has notified several individuals of their new ambassadorial appointments.
According to information obtained from diplomatic sources, Minister Fidan has notified the individuals who will serve as ambassadors at Turkey's foreign missions of their assignments.
Accordingly, it has been decided that Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yasin Ekrem Serim will serve as the Ambassador to Nicosia, and the current Ambassador to Nicosia, Metin Feyzioğlu, will serve as the Ambassador to Prague.
The position of Ambassador to Prague was previously held by Egemen Bağış.
