Metrobus accident in Avcılar: 5 injured
A metrobus accident occurred at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Social Facilities metrobus station in Avcılar. An investigation into the accident, which left 5 people injured, is ongoing.
The incident occurred around 12:30 PM at the Avcılar Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Social Facilities metrobus station. According to the information obtained, a metrobus approaching the station to drop off passengers was struck from behind by another metrobus traveling in the same direction.

5 PASSENGERS INJURED
Five passengers on the metrobus were injured in the accident. Following a report by a security guard, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After receiving initial treatment from medical teams at the scene, the injured were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Following the accident, the two metrobuses at the station were moved forward. Due to the ongoing work, metrobus services at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Social Facilities station were limited to a single lane for approximately 1 hour.
After the teams completed their work and the metrobuses involved in the accident were removed with the help of a crane, services returned to normal.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
