Mezitli Mayor Tuncer and Tanju Özcan referred to the High Disciplinary Board in CHP
CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı announced that they have decided to refer Mersin Mezitli Mayor Serkan Tuncer and Tanju Özcan, who was removed from his post as Bolu Mayor, to the High Disciplinary Board with a request for permanent expulsion, with precautionary measures.
The CHP Central Executive Board (MYK) met under the chairmanship of CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
The meeting held at the CHP Headquarters lasted 2 hours.
CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı made a statement on his social media account following the meeting.
Stating that they evaluated the country's agenda and recent developments within the party during the meeting, Sarı used the following expressions regarding the decisions taken:
"In line with the decision for an ordinary convention taken at the Party Assembly meeting held yesterday, it has been decided to prepare the congress calendar and make assignments regarding the execution of the process. It has been decided to refer Mersin Mezitli Mayor Serkan Tuncer and Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan to the High Disciplinary Board with a request for permanent expulsion, with precautionary measures."
