MHK Vice President in charge of VAR Tolga Özkalfa has resigned

According to a written statement from the TFF, Tolga Özkalfa, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) MHK Vice President in charge of VAR and a member of the Professional Competition Executive Board, has resigned.

The following statements were included in the announcement made by the TFF:

"Tolga Özkalfa, the MHK Vice President in charge of VAR and a member of the Professional Competition Executive Board, has resigned from his position. We thank Tolga Özkalfa and wish him success in his future endeavors. Dr. Cem Satman has been appointed to the position of MHK Member in charge of VAR, replacing Tolga Özkalfa, who has resigned from his post. We wish Dr. Cem Satman success in his new role." 

WHO IS CEM SATMAN?

Born in Ankara in 1976, Cem Satman played football in the youth academy of Ankara Demirspor. He received his undergraduate degree in Physical Education and Sports at Ankara University, and his Master's and Doctorate degrees in Educational Psychology at the Ankara University Faculty of Educational Sciences, and also received language training and education in England. 

Dr. Cem Satman, who has been a Physical Education teacher for 14 years, has served as a Super Lig and FIFA Assistant Referee. Dr. Cem Satman, who has authored and translated works and scientific articles in the fields of football refereeing, education, and educational psychology, is also a member of the fitness team of UEFA Fitness Director Werner Helsen, who also works within the TFF. Satman is married and a father of one child.
