MHP Bilecik Provincial Chair resigns
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Bilecik Provincial Chair Talha Özkan has resigned from his post, citing the intensity of his business affairs.
Talha Özkan, who was elected as Provincial Chair at the 14th Ordinary Congress of the MHP Bilecik Provincial Presidency held on September 16, 2023, in Bilecik, has resigned from his post, citing the intensity of his business affairs.
Announcing his resignation via social media, Özkan stated,
"I have as of today concluded my duty as MHP Bilecik Provincial Chair, which I have carried out with sincerity, loyalty, and courage, and of which I have always been proud to be a member. My belonging to the nationalist idealist movement and my loyalty to our Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, will continue until the end of my life. I would like to thank our Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, all our deputy chairmen who are headquarters officials, and our headquarters staff who did not spare their support for us during our time in office. I would like to thank my precious family who were always by my side day and night, my provincial deputy chairs with whom I fought shoulder to shoulder, my provincial board members, our mayors, our district chairs, our council members, and all our organizations that have given their hearts to the nationalist idealist movement, from the bottom of my heart."
