MHP-İYİ Party feud continues: Semih Yalçın targets Dervişoğlu

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu criticized MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, the architect of the new resolution process, at his party's rally in Samsun, stating, "He has no right or authority to represent Turkish nationalism. Turkish nationalism is not ownerless."

Responses from the MHP front to this outburst by Dervişoğlu continue to arrive one after another.

MHP Secretary-General İsmet Büyükataman, who made a statement yesterday, responded to Dervişoğlu by saying, "It is not the place or right of İP Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu to question the Nationalist Movement Party and our leader, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli."

Today, MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın also issued a statement.

In a statement on his X account, Yalçın said, "Müsavat Dervişoğlu is firing at the wrong target. If there is one agenda item that Dervişoğlu and his cronies can never hit the MHP on, it is the fight against terrorism and the goal of a Turkey without terrorism."

Stating that "Dervişoğlu, who has completely lost the measure of his unfair criticisms, baseless accusations, and allegations against the MHP, has taken things to the level of insults and character assassination," the full text of Yalçın's statement shared on his X account is as follows:

"The statement made by Nationalist Movement Party Deputy Chairman – Istanbul MP Prof. Dr. E. Semih YALÇIN regarding the 'Two Ignorant and Slanderous İP Members' is below.

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu, who finds the remedy for protecting and consolidating the political position he obtained by chance in fierce opposition to the MHP, has uttered words exceeding his limits against the MHP both on the group podium and in various circles.

Dervişoğlu, who has completely lost the measure of his unfair criticisms, baseless accusations, and allegations against the MHP, has taken things to the level of insults and character assassination.

Dervişoğlu is disgracing himself by resorting to cheap politics and noisy rhetoric.

The discomfort felt by Mr. Müsavat over the fact that the 'Turkey without Terrorism' goal put forward by the People's Alliance is about to be realized has exceeded the dimension of defeat anxiety and turned into relentless political hysteria.

Müsavat Dervişoğlu, who ignores the MHP's meticulousness, determination, and seriousness in the fight against terrorism in almost every criticism and accusation, seems to be living not in Turkey, but in another country or in space.

The MHP has no doubts about its own integrity in the fight against terrorism to have any concerns about its prayers.

In the incompetent and unqualified hands of Müsavat Dervişoğlu, the İP has turned into a kind of under-the-bridge hangout for circus performers and low-shouldered Beyoğlu thugs.

Every fake tough guy who has strayed from Idealism and is a corrupted version of nationalism has taken up positions in this party.

The capital of almost all of them is denial and rejection, and their skill is opposition to the MHP.

The head circus performer of the İP, Müsavat Dervişoğlu, seems to have forgotten that in the past, his party assumed the function of being a companion to the HDP and DEM Party, and even a confidant of the PKK, together with the CHP.

Indeed, while he showers his new travel companions with praise and flowers everywhere he goes, he is throwing stones at the MHP with all his might.

Müsavat Dervişoğlu, while barking at the door he grew up in, is not only revealing his nature and character but also generously displaying the shirt of sedition and discord that the İP wears in politics.

Mr. Müsavat, who was once part of the MHP community, has seen up close our party's sensitivity and uncompromising stance on the fight against terrorism.

He also knows 'WELL' that no one can compete with the MHP in terms of providing direction and inspiration to the state's fight against terrorism.

Müsavat Dervişoğlu is denying his own past and background.

They say a snail came out of its shell and didn't like its shell.

Mr. Müsavat, like a slug, is trying to smear his slime onto the MHP.

Müsavat Dervişoğlu is firing at the wrong target.

If there is one agenda item that Dervişoğlu and his cronies can never hit the MHP on, it is the fight against terrorism and the goal of a Turkey without terrorism.

The İP chairman will only reap frustration by resorting to wordplay, political nonsense aimed at the galleries, and foaming at the mouth on the podium by falling for the irresistible charm of ugly rhetoric.

Whoever constantly slanders the MHP will ultimately see their personality, honor, past, and 'flawed' political background fly away.

Despite all the unfair attacks and accusations from all the spokespersons of the İP, the caravan moves on.

The message of the conciliatory, unifying hand extended by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli in politics has found its place where necessary, and the Turkey without Terrorism caravan has reached its destination with the announcement that the separatist terrorist organization has dissolved itself.

The final goal is not far away.

The İP's abnormal political stubbornness in the face of the Turkey without Terrorism move, which has become state policy, does not escape attention.

The İP's opposition to a Turkey without Terrorism and the MHP is as disproportionate and extreme as it is in need of treatment.

Lies, distortions, and efforts to create negative perceptions are also in vain.

The horse has already crossed the Bosphorus.

Even the children on the street have understood the value of the deterrent move made by Mr. Devlet Bahçeli to strengthen the thousand-year-old brotherhood law, but Mr. Müsavat and his cronies have not been able to grasp it.

Behind Müsavat Dervişoğlu's baseless accusations and criticisms, and his vulgar smear efforts against both our Chairman and our party, lies a weakness of intellect.

One of the reasons for the attacks that follow this is that Dervişoğlu evaluates the return of the Turkey without Terrorism path opened by the MHP and the People's Alliance only from the point of political gain.

What is for the benefit of the nation is counted as a loss for the İP.

However, this issue is above parties; it is embraced by our nation and is enthusiastically supported by public opinion.

The desperate negative reaction shown by the İP chairman regarding this phenomenon, which is welcomed by large masses of people in Turkey, is quite artificial.

With his reaction to the Turkey without Terrorism phenomenon, Müsavat Dervişoğlu resembles a rabid rooster flapping its wings as if tearing itself apart because it cannot find feed.

Even the CHP members, with whom the İP has shared a destiny and sold out their former comrades, have not given such extreme and absurd reactions to the efforts to end terrorism as Dervişoğlu has.

The İP Chairman is trying to hide a fierce anxiety of failure, salted with a psychology of guilt, behind an ugly rhetoric that makes his large frame look completely dwarfed on the podium.

Actually, he has also understood the seriousness and importance of the matter, but slander, imputation, and distortion suit his purpose.

His shamelessness, his attempt to play the fake wrestler, and his condescension to smear the MHP are partly because he feels the need to cover this up.

Mr. Müsavat is trying not to be left behind and to steal the spotlight in the face of the dominant political role assumed by the MHP and the People's Alliance to reach the goal of a Turkey without Terrorism.

That is why he is opposing and resisting a phenomenon that the nation favors, but alas, he is on the wrong path; he has entered a dead-end street.

Because the nation itself has taken on the phenomenon of a Turkey without Terrorism.

Mothers and fathers have taken it on.

Despite all their pain, no mother or father, no martyr or veteran family will want terrorism to continue.

No sane citizen will consent to the addition of new ones to the thousands of martyrs we have given, or to other families being plunged into new sorrows.

And what should be said about Mr. Müsavat's vulgarity in not deeming our Chairman and the MHP worthy of representing the ideal of Turkish nationalism?

Let us say it from the beginning: high morality is sought in an individual who adopts and defends Turkish nationalism.

Turkish nationalism means decency.

Turkish nationalism means adherence to tradition, respect for elders, and love for the young.

It means loyalty to the people one has spent past years with.

It means adopting a decent style and using a high-level language towards important political figures who have won the love of the people.

It means being respectful to the gray-haired ones who have dedicated their lives to the ideal of Turkishness.

There is not even a crumb of any of these in this unkempt Müsavat Dervişoğlu.

A Turkish nationalist does not beat the drum and play the zurna of imperialism.

The head of the İP should look in the mirror before trying to keep up with the MHP.

He will see with despair that no political saw can shape a petrified plank.

He will painfully realize that a piece of wood soaked in a rain of profit will not ignite in any stove.

One of those who is stepping up the pace in the race of MHP opposition like Müsavat Dervişoğlu is Turhan Çömez from the İP.

Çömez took the Hippocratic Oath, but he has become famous as a so-called physician devoid of medical ethics.

Because Turhan Çömez has the nature to shamelessly share the privacy and secrets of his patients.

Çömez, who is understood to have not received his share of national character, has ultimately become a draft of a politician devoid of political decency and manners.

This 'çömez' (novice) used the name Turhan Gomez to hide while he was a fugitive in England in the past.

Çömez became Gomez, but thanks to this, he was able to continue all his dirty international relations and connections without any problems. We know well who he met with here during the period when Çömez fled to England.

The circles that give political advice to Turhan Çömez and the İP on attacking the MHP and sabotaging the Turkey without Terrorism move are known to our nation.

We suggest that he use the surname Teres in Washington and Peres in Tel Aviv.

The statements of Dervişoğlu and Çömez about our party and our Chairman inevitably bring the following questions to mind:

Have the imperialist terror barons put the İP into circulation to block the goal of a Turkey without Terrorism?

Are the İP members the new local spokespersons of global imperialism?

At the beginning of the common characteristics of Müsavat Dervişoğlu and Turhan Çömez, who lead the way in MHP opposition, is barking by being ungrateful to the doors they grew up in and ate bread from.

On this occasion, we address all MHP opponents:

Hostility towards the MHP will not be enough to hide from the nation the mission of betrayal that the İP and the team of Americanist allies it is part of have undertaken to tear apart the national will.

No character assassination, no political engineering effort will be able to undermine the superior and constructive role played by our Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli.

Immoral and low-level attacks on the MHP will not be able to damage the prestige of our party and the Nationalist-Idealist Movement in the eyes of the nation.

Lies and fallacies inspired by FETÖ, and smear campaigns, will not be able to harm the specific weight of the MHP in the political climate.

The MHP functions as an unbreakable mirror of the era that shows the true faces and intentions on the political stage.

The MHP performs the function of a litmus paper that separates infected, socially harmful ideas and attitudes from healthy ones.

People like Müsavat Dervişoğlu and Turhan Çömez, whose morals are corrupted, consciences are darkened, hearts are rusted, and characters are spoiled, will never be able to smear the MHP.

The words they devalue, the speech whose essence they darken, and the politics they cheapen will return like a boomerang and hit them.

It will sooner or later be seen that the masks of those who make the MHP an enemy fall off, their evil paints peel off, and their germs only infect diseased bodies.

The nationalist community in the broadest sense and the Turkish nation in the largest common denominator will not give credence to the unfair accusation and slander campaigns against the MHP. It will always teach such puppets of games their place.
