MHP official threatens martyrs' association: 'You will be held accountable, know this'

MHP official threatens martyrs' association: 'You will be held accountable, know this'

Following the process initiated by Bahçeli's call, relatives of martyrs and veterans gathered at the Edirnekapı Martyrs' Cemetery and issued a statement saying, "As long as the martyrs do not rise from their graves and our veterans' limbs are not restored, it is unacceptable for the terrorist leader and terrorists to be pardoned, let alone released to house arrest."

THREATENING REACTION FROM MHP TO PROTESTS

According to B Yüzü, a reaction to these statements came from the MHP. MHP Istanbul Provincial Vice Chairman Zafer Çalışır shared a photo from the Police Martyrs' Cemetery in Edirnekapı and targeted the relatives of martyrs and veterans' associations.

The statement by MHP's Çalışır is as follows:

“Our lives are sacrificed for our martyrs who took lives and gave their lives for the homeland, and for our veterans who paid the price…

To those opportunists who operate under the name of some martyrs' and veterans' associations!!? Whose path they walk and where they are funded from is clear, and whose personal assets are excessive; I am watching you all!

It is insolence to let words be spoken against my leader Devlet through the relatives of martyrs, and you will be held accountable for this.

Wait with patience or however you wish. But it won't be long, know this as well.”
