MHP removes that name from party list

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Chairman Sadir Durmaz announced that Gaziantep Araban Mayor Mehmet Özdemir has been removed from the party's list of mayors.

MHP Deputy Chairman Sadir Durmaz made a statement regarding the Mayor of Araban district in Gaziantep, Mehmet Özdemir.

In a statement shared via his social media account, Deputy Chairman Sadir Durmaz said, "Our Gaziantep/Araban District Mayor Mehmet Özdemir has been removed from our list of mayors due to his attitudes and behaviors that are contrary to our party's principles and policies.

I respectfully submit this to the public's information," he stated.
