MHP's Adan: Those who do not say 'Turkey first' in the upcoming elections will lose

Speaking at the 15th Ordinary Provincial Congress of the MHP in Kütahya, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Adan made assessments regarding Turkey's fight against terrorism, the goal of a "Terror-Free Turkey," recent developments, and the upcoming elections.

In his speech, Adan said that Turkey has paid a heavy price for many years due to terrorism.

Drawing attention to the political will demonstrated by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli to end Turkey's terrorism problem and strengthen social brotherhood, Adan noted that Bahçeli acts with a "Turkey first" understanding.

Stating that significant political risks were taken during this process, Adan noted that the approach put forward by Bahçeli has been turned into state policy by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Emphasizing that Turkey must now leave the terrorism problem behind, Adan said that a large number of soldiers and citizens have lost their lives due to terrorism for nearly 50 years. Stating that Turkey has also suffered great economic losses due to the fight against terrorism, Adan said, "The money spent on terrorism in Turkey is 2 trillion 300 billion dollars."

Making assessments regarding the upcoming elections, Adan said that Turkey is at the foundation of the MHP's political understanding.

Pointing out the importance of protecting Turkey's unity and solidarity, Adan stated that political calculations should not be placed ahead of the interests of the country and the nation, adding, "Those who do not say 'Turkey first' in the upcoming elections will lose."
