MHP's Yıldız declares 'these articles are non-negotiable': Statement on report and Constitution
MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız stated, "We consider the first 4 articles of our Constitution, as well as articles 42 and 66, to be outside the scope of any debate. If they open them for discussion, they will be heard out of courtesy, but will not be given any consideration, because what is being done here is not a restructuring of the State, but working together to end terrorism."
Yıldız stated, "It was already unthinkable for the report we have prepared to be outside the red lines and the founding philosophy of the Turkish State.
We consider the first 4 articles of our Constitution, as well as articles 42 and 66, to be outside the scope of any debate.
These are the fundamental pillars of the State. These are non-negotiable," he said.
