MHP's Uysal obtains access ban on news about access bans
MHP Mersin Deputy Levent Uysal and his wife Ece Uysal, who recently had 402 news reports and social media posts regarding their luxury vehicles blocked, have now had an additional 108 news reports and social media posts about that very access ban blocked as well.
Following an application by the Uysal couple, the Mersin 3rd Civil Court of First Instance issued an access ban on 108 news reports and social media posts, including those reporting on the initial access ban itself.
The blocked news reports include those regarding tenders Uysal received from the General Directorate of Foundations, the fake diploma scandal in Northern Cyprus, and a statement made by Uysal's lawyer.
Furthermore, Uysal also had a news report blocked that stated, "It was alleged that some of the vehicles linked to a criminal organization in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality investigation were registered in the name of MHP Mersin Deputy Levent Uysal and his wife Ece Uysal."
