Three people who fell ill at the “Unreal x Jeton” concert held at the Istanbul Congress Center in Şişli, Istanbul, were taken to the hospital. F.A. (29) lost their life despite medical interventions at the hospital.
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred around 03:15 last night. Health teams were dispatched upon reports from bystanders for F.A., T.M. (33), and M.S.R. (24), who fell ill in the concert area.
Following initial intervention by health teams, the three individuals were taken to Taksim Training and Research Hospital. It was learned that T.M. and M.S.R. remain in critical condition.
In the initial assessments by police and health teams, it was stated that the possibility that the three individuals fell ill due to alcohol and drug use is being investigated. The exact cause of F.A.'s death will be clarified following an autopsy to be performed at the Council of Forensic Medicine.
It was determined that approximately 5 thousand people attended the concert, which was held between 21:00 and 04:00, that only those over the age of 18 were admitted to the event, and that alcohol was served inside. While it was learned that the necessary documents for the organization were in place, the police have launched an investigation into the incident, and the concert area was evacuated.
