In the incident that took place at the Marmaray Süreyyapaşa Station, Deniz E. got into an argument with a female passenger over a seat-giving issue while traveling with his two children.

During the argument, a person named E.D. attacked Deniz E. The altercation escalated when I.A. also joined the fight. As the train pulled into the station, the parties continued to argue outside as well.

The moment of the incident was recorded by a passenger's mobile phone camera and caused a major stir on social media.

Following the spread of the footage, the attackers were taken into custody and E.D. was arrested.

MILLION-LIRA AID FROM SEDAT PEKER

Sedat Peker, who is wanted under a red notice and lives in the United Arab Emirates, reached out to the assaulted Deniz E. and provided 2.5 million TL in aid for the family, who use public transportation, to purchase a car.

ARGUMENT OVER GIVING UP A SEAT ESCALATED

Regarding the incident, Deniz E. said, "There was a woman trying to stand at the door, and I was trying to get in with my children. I told her to move from in front of the door, but she didn't. Afterward, the argument grew, and I was attacked."
