Mine collapse in Soma: 1 worker dead, 1 worker injured
A roof collapse occurred during the night at a mine in the Soma district of Manisa. Adem Balta, who was in the mine at the time of the collapse, lost his life. A worker identified as O.K. was injured.

In the Soma district of Manisa, 1 worker died and 1 worker was injured as a result of a roof collapse at a mine.
According to the information received, a roof collapse occurred for unknown reasons during the night at the mine in Eğnez Neighborhood.
Workers Adem Balta (35) and A.O.K. (25) were injured in the incident.
Balta, one of the injured who was taken to Soma State Hospital, could not be saved despite medical intervention.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
