‘Minimum Livelihood Support’ claim left unanswered: Ministries unable to decide
It had been claimed that the Ministry of Treasury and Finance was conducting a study involving regular payments to citizens under the name of “Minimum Livelihood Support” as part of the election process. An information request filed by 12punto caused confusion between two ministries.

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum had stated, "We are putting nearly 20 thousand residences up for sale in 64 provinces through our TOKİ Presidency.” In addition to this step, it was claimed that as part of an AKP election preparation, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance would essentially provide a salary to citizens in the form of an "allowance."

12punto previously brought to the agenda the inside information that the Ministry of Treasury and Finance would provide salaries to citizens under the name of “Minimum Livelihood Support” as part of election preparations, and that Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek had taken action to create resources for this purpose; however, an “Access to Information” request regarding the matter was left unanswered.
NO RESPONSE TO INFORMATION REQUEST
We asked the Ministry of Treasury and Finance about the claim in question via the Presidential Communication Center (CİMER) within the scope of the “Right to Information Act” No. 4982.
While the justification for extending the 15-business-day period should have been communicated to the applicant in writing before the end of this period, no response has been provided yet, despite 30 business days having passed.
TWO MINISTRIES UNABLE TO DECIDE
Following the application, the question circulated between the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Ministry of Family and Social Services.

However, it appears that the two ministries have no answer to the question they have been continuously forwarding to each other.
