Minimum wage announced: Minister Işıkhan announced the minimum wage amount

The Minimum Wage Determination Commission met for the fourth time as part of its efforts to determine the minimum wage that will be valid in 2025. The new minimum wage has been set at 22 thousand 104 liras.

Sharing information regarding the new minimum wage, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated, "In 2025, the minimum wage will be implemented as a net 22,104 TL with a 30% increase. May it be beneficial to our country and our nation."

Highlights from Minister Işıkhan's statements are as follows:

THE NEW MINIMUM WAGE HAS BEEN DETERMINED

"In line with the vision of Turkey, which is shaped under the leadership of our President, we are aiming for a future where social welfare is strengthened. Our country is consolidating its economic stability with fiscal discipline and balanced growth policies to eliminate the effects of global and regional problems, disasters, and pandemics. I would like to state that Turkey is in a disinflation process. We have made a 30 percent increase compared to the previous year. Effective from January 1, 2025, the new minimum wage has become 22 thousand 104 liras."

TÜRK-İŞ, which represents the worker side in the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, decided not to attend the commission's 4th meeting.
