TÜRK-İŞ Vice President Ramazan Ağar stated that no figures have been discussed yet in the minimum wage negotiations, adding that he does not expect the process to drag on and anticipates a conclusion by the third meeting.
All eyes are on the Minimum Wage Commission regarding the minimum wage. Citizens have turned their attention to the minimum wage increase rate for the new year. A statement on the matter has come from the TÜRK-İŞ front.
TÜRK-İŞ Vice President Ramazan Ağar announced in his statement that no figures were discussed at the meeting. Recalling the words of Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek, Ağar said, 'If the bad days are behind us, we want to benefit from the good days as well. No price was announced for the minimum wage today, so we concluded the meeting.'
I DO NOT THINK IT WILL DRAG ON
Noting that he does not expect the process in the Minimum Wage Commission to drag on, Ağar said, 'I do not think the process will drag on. It will end at the third meeting. When we state a figure, we end up being held to it.'
Stating that they do not have a specific figure expectation for now, Ağar added that they know people's living conditions and therefore expect a good raise so that citizens can live humanely.
