Minimum wage message from Vice President Yılmaz
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz stated, "May the monthly minimum wage, which has increased to a net of 28,075 Turkish Lira with a 27 percent raise, and the state support, which has risen from 1,000 to 1,270 Turkish Lira, be beneficial for both employees and employers."
The 2026 minimum wage, eagerly awaited by millions, has been determined. The net minimum wage has been set at 28,075 TL. The gross amount was determined to be 33,030 TL.

In his statement, Yılmaz said, "In 2026, we aim to drop below 20 percentin an environment where we aim to bring inflation down toa 27 percent increase to a net 28,075 lirarising monthly minimum wage, along with the state support increasing from 1,000 to 1,270 lira, for emfor employees and employersmay it bebeneficial. As inflationdeclines, productivityon a pathwhere itis rising; we will continue to resolutely implement our policies aimed at reducing informality, increasing employment, and ensuring permanent social welfare"he added.He included these statements.
