Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announces: A new era begins in highway payments

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu has announced that vehicle owners can now make their highway payments securely via e-Devlet.

Uraloğlu stated, "Our citizens will now be able to make payments for tunnel, bridge, and highway crossings with a single click via e-Devlet." Minister Uraloğlu noted that this regulation covers all toll roads operated by the General Directorate of Highways and private companies, and that citizens can pay their crossing debts that have not yet entered legal proceedings through this system.

Reminding that the e-Devlet system, developed and operated by TÜRKSAT, plays a critical role in the integration of digitalization and technology into public services, Uraloğlu said, "Thanks to this new regulation, which includes all toll roads operated by the General Directorate of Highways and private companies, our citizens will now be able to securely pay their debts related to tunnel, bridge, and highway crossings via e-Devlet.

Vehicle owners will be able to track their highway usage and pay their crossing debts that have not entered legal proceedings and payments that have not yet incurred penalties through this system."

Furthermore, Uraloğlu emphasized that with this service offered via e-Devlet, citizens will now be able to perform transactions such as debt payments, notifications of toll violations, and debt inquiries in a more convenient and user-friendly manner.

Uraloğlu said, "These innovations will provide great convenience in paying for crossings before they incur penalties, and these transactions can only be performed by the owners of the vehicles registered to the license plate. Our goal is to make our citizens' lives easier by increasing access to digital services and making these services more practical and secure."
