Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, in response to the question 'Will there be a price hike for electricity and natural gas?', stated, "We are not considering it on the electricity side, but we need to take a look at the natural gas side."
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar answered questions regarding the agenda on the tv100 channel.
Bayraktar stated that they are not considering a price hike for electricity this summer.
Regarding a possible price hike for natural gas, Bayraktar said, "We need to take a look."
"IT DOES NOT APPEAR LIKELY WITHIN THE NEXT ONE OR TWO MONTHS"
Bayraktar gave the following response to the question, 'Will there be a price hike for electricity and natural gas?':
"I mean, we don't have such a plan right now. We are not considering making any adjustments to natural gas and electricity this summer.
I mean, we are not considering it on the electricity side. We need to take a look at the natural gas side.
Because there hasn't been any adjustment to natural gas for a long time, and the support figures there, especially when we look at the price of natural gas alone, have reached 70 percent; we may re-evaluate natural gas, but it does not appear likely within the next one or two months."
