Minister Bayraktar's statement on İliç: We examined the area more closely
Minister Bayraktar announced that operations are continuing uninterrupted on the 13th day of the landslide at the mining site in İliç.
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar provided an update on the latest status of the operations regarding the landslide that occurred at the mining site in İliç, Erzincan, where 9 workers remain trapped under the soil.
"OUR WORK CONTINUES UNINTERRUPTED"
In his statement, Minister Bayraktar said the following:
"On the 13th day of the landslide at the mining site in İliç, our work continues uninterrupted. The activities we are conducting to eliminate the risk of a new landslide and to ensure the safety of the search operations are continuing at an accelerated pace. Today, we went down to the Sabırlı Stream, where the landslide occurred, and examined the area more closely. We held evaluations regarding the steps to be taken in the coming process."
