Minister Fidan announces that Palestine is their primary agenda

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, in a press briefing in New York regarding President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's address at the 81st UN General Assembly, said, "Our President once again brought the tragedy experienced by the Palestinian people to the world's attention in all its nakedness. He strongly expressed that what is happening in Gaza is an issue that tests the common conscience of humanity and the credibility of the international system."

Highlights from Minister Fidan's statements are as follows:

We are working to ensure that Palestine does not face concerns about its future. Our goal is for the tragedy in Gaza to come to an end.

In all the meetings we attended as the Turkish delegation, we brought up Israel's policies of genocide, as well as its occupation and annexation activities. We conveyed the suffering experienced in Gaza and the West Bank.

We advocated for dialogue against conflicts, diplomacy against crises, and cooperation against divisions.

We expressed the need for the international community to produce common solutions to common problems.

Within the framework of our vision of regional ownership, we pointed out that solutions to regional issues should not be sought elsewhere.
