Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call with Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström today.

NATO MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

The meeting addressed Sweden's NATO membership process, preparations for the upcoming meetings of the Permanent Joint Mechanism between Turkey, Sweden, and Finland, and Turkey-EU relations.

The protocol regarding the approval of Sweden's NATO membership process had been accepted in the General Assembly of the Parliament.

ALSO SPOKE WITH TURKMENISTAN FOREIGN MINISTER MEREDOV

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also held a phone call with Turkmenistan Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov.

The meeting addressed bilateral relations, particularly in energy and civil aviation, as well as opportunities for cooperation in multilateral platforms.
