Minister Güler issues 'end it' warning to PKK and its affiliates

Speaking at the Fire Free Activity-2025, held in the Polatlı district of Ankara, where weapons and systems in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) were utilized, Minister Yaşar Güler made statements. 

Stating that they are closely following the developments regarding the ceasefire between Israel and Palestine, Minister Güler said, "It should not be forgotten that the feasibility of the plan for a complete cessation of hostilities in Gaza depends on international support and the establishment of fair assurance mechanisms.

As the Republic of Turkey, within the framework of our historical mission and in line with the directives of our President, we will closely monitor developments, particularly regarding the rapid delivery of humanitarian aid to the region, the full implementation of the ceasefire, and its continuity, and we will fulfill our responsibilities in every matter that may be needed," he stated.

"WE ARE CONTINUING OUR EFFORTS TO FORTIFY OUR INTERNAL FRONT"

Stating that the world is going through a crisis and that asymmetric risks and threats persist, Minister Güler emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity. Güler said, "Essentially, one of our most important pillars in ensuring the defense and security of our country at the highest level is the unity and solidarity we possess as a nation. In this context, we are continuing our efforts to fortify our internal front with an understanding of reinforcing our thousand-year brotherhood," he expressed.

"WE WILL NOT ALLOW ACTIVITIES UNDER DIFFERENT NAMES"

Noting that the complete liquidation of all terrorist organizations is their ultimate goal, Minister Güler stated that these organizations must lay down their arms unconditionally. Güler said, "The PKK and all affiliated groups must immediately cease all terrorist activities within the scope of the dissolution decision taken, and all their extensions operating in different geographies and under different names, especially in Syria, must surrender their weapons immediately and unconditionally. I would like to remind you once again that we will not allow any terrorist organization, especially the PKK, YPG, and SDF, to take root in the region or operate under different names as our neighbors," he said.
