Minister Gürlek: A judge with less than 10 years of experience will not be a commercial court president
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek stated, "We have introduced specialization in commercial courts. A judge with less than 10 years of experience will not be a commercial court president."
Minister of Justice Gürlek received Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) President Mustafa Gültepe and his accompanying delegation. Minister Gürlek stated that TİM is a locomotive for the Turkish economy.
Noting that the contributions of TİM members to employment and production are extremely important, Minister Gürlek stated that he is aware of the problems faced by the business world and noted that they have taken the necessary steps to shorten litigation processes.
Minister Gürlek said, "We have introduced specialization in commercial courts, especially in commercial cases.
A judge with less than 10 years of experience will not be a commercial court president. We have taken the necessary step to bring commercial courts under a single roof. We do not want anyone in our country to experience problems, especially in terms of exports and investment.
If bureaucratic problems arise in this regard, we will reduce these problems as much as we can.
As the judiciary, we already have ongoing efforts to accelerate the processes," he said.
Minister Gürlek thanked TİM President Mustafa Gültepe for his visit.
