Minister Işıkhan announces: 81 more drugs added to the SSI reimbursement list
Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that 81 more drugs, 79 of which are domestically produced, have been added to the Social Security Institution's (SSI) reimbursement list.
In a statement on his social media account, Işıkhan said, "With the regulation made in our Social Security Institution's List of Reimbursable Drugs, we have added 81 more drugs to the reimbursement list, 79 of which are domestically produced. I hope these drugs will bring healing to our patients and wish our citizens a healthy life."
In the SSI's announcement regarding the matter, it was stated that one of these drugs is for cancer, 6 are for diabetes, 11 are antibiotics, 4 are for epilepsy-migraine, 2 are for MS, 1 is for obesity, 2 are for pulmonary hypertension, and 7 are allergy medications.
It was reported that the regulation will come into effect in 5 business days.
