Minister Işıkhan makes statement regarding working hours

While discussions continue regarding whether working hours will be shortened, a notable statement has come from Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan. 

Işıkhan stated, "Issues such as working hours, wages, and the welfare of workers hold an important place on our agenda."

"CARRIED OUT BY OUR MINISTRY'S LABOR INSPECTORS"

Regarding the subject, Minister Işıkhan said, "As a Ministry, while contributing to the growth of our country and the increase in employment on one hand, we are also meticulously implementing measures that will increase the welfare of our employees and protect their safety. 

In this context, issues such as working hours, wages, occupational health and safety, workers' welfare, the employment of women, children, and youth, informality, unemployment, employment, and labor market practices hold an important place on our agenda. 

Inspection activities covering research, examination, and auditing regarding the implementation of all legislative provisions related to working conditions and environments are carried out by our ministry's labor inspectors."
