Minister Kurum to Özgür Özel: You are losing your mind

CHP leader Özgür Özel made statements at the "The Nation Protects Its Will" rally held in Yalova today, where he targeted Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum over earthquake housing in Hatay.

Özel said regarding Kurum, "This nation wants urban transformation against earthquakes. Another warning just came from here in Sındırgı. This nation wants urban transformation. Murat Kurum, the reason for my reaction to you is that you are politicizing this work.

My call to Kurum from here is to pave the way for transformation in Yalova. The people of Hatay call this Murat Kurum 'blank-check Murat'," he stated. Kurum responded to these remarks by Özel. 

In a statement on his social media account, Kurum used the following expressions:

"Just as the CHP cannot produce works, it can no longer even produce words. Özgür Özel is like a broken record everywhere, 'Murat Kurum this, Murat Kurum that.' I know your problem! Your problem is the 455 thousand houses we are building in the earthquake zone. Your problem is the 500 thousand social houses we will build for our nation. You are losing your mind because we are producing works you couldn't even see in your dreams!"
