Minister Şimşek met with investors in Singapore
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek held meetings in Singapore, where he is attending the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) General Assembly meeting.
In a statement on his social media account, Minister Şimşek said, "We held productive meetings in Singapore. We presented the positive results of our stability and reform program to institutional investors and real sector representatives. We had fruitful discussions on potential areas of cooperation, particularly in digital transformation, renewable energy, and supporting start-ups, with President, my dear friend Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Mr. Lawrence Wong. At the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) General Assembly meeting, we explained our vision for the coming period in our fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism."
