Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, regarding the teachers' seminars during the first mid-term break, said, "Everywhere I go, my colleagues are requesting this. We have made an evaluation with our colleagues.
'Should we hold the mid-term break seminars in November this year online or not?' We will think about this, friends. We will most likely change our decision from face-to-face to online," he said.
Stating that they have received intense requests from teachers regarding the mid-term break seminars to be held between November 11-15, 2024, Minister Tekin said, "Last year, we were going to hold them face-to-face, or rather, we announced that we would.
Then it coincided with the holiday. We said, 'Let's do it face-to-face this year,' but now, everywhere I go, my colleagues are requesting it.
Especially the colleagues in the schools I mentioned last week made intense requests. The day before yesterday, on Wednesday, we were in Hatay.
The colleagues there also requested it. We have made an evaluation with our colleagues. 'Should we hold the mid-term break seminars in November this year online or not?' We will think about this, friends.
We will most likely change our decision from face-to-face to online," he said.
