Minister Yerlikaya announced: More than 1 million drug pills seized
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that more than 1 million drug pills were seized as part of the "NARKOKAPAN-6" operations.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 1 million 795 thousand drug pills were seized as part of the "NARKOKAPAN-6" operations. Minister Yerlikaya stated, "In the 'NARKOKAPAN-6' operation carried out against a drug manufacturing facility in Istanbul, 1 million 795 thousand drug pills were seized."
Three people were detained in the operations. In his post regarding the operation, Yerlikaya said, "The fight against drugs, which is a global disaster, is not just a security issue; it is also an issue of our future. We are on every street, every avenue, and every street corner! We do not give drug dealers any room to breathe. We do not allow them to darken the future of our children, and we will not allow it."
According to Yerlikaya; the following items were seized in the operations organized under the coordination of the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the General Directorate of Security's Department of Anti-Narcotic Crimes:
1 million 795 thousand drug pills,
5 pill pressing machines,
2 vacuum machines and
1 precision scale were seized
