Minister Yerlikaya announces: 2024 appointments for Gendarmerie, Police, and Coast Guard have been completed
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced, "The 2024 general appointments for the Gendarmerie General Command, the General Directorate of Security, and the Coast Guard Command have been completed."
The Gendarmerie General Command, the General Directorate of Security, and the Coast Guard Command 2024 general appointments have been completed.
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced on his social media account that appointments have been made for the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard commands, as well as the Police.
According to Yerlikaya's statement, 1,769 supervisors and 20,791 police-rank personnel were appointed within the General Directorate of Security.
Within the Gendarmerie General Command, a total of 32,732 personnel were appointed, including 1,662 officers, 7,301 non-commissioned officers, 2,063 specialist gendarmerie, and 21,706 specialist sergeants.
In the Coast Guard Command, 210 officers and 592 non-commissioned officers were appointed.
