Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that an organized crime group led by drug trafficker Cüneyt Dizdaroğlu was dismantled and 15 suspects were apprehended during the simultaneous "MAHZEN-6" operations held in Yalova.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his X account that an organized crime group led by drug trafficker Cüneyt Dizdaroğlu was dismantled and 15 suspects were apprehended during the simultaneous "MAHZEN-6" operations held in Yalova.
In his post, Yerlikaya stated, "As a result of the work carried out by the Yalova Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch, it was determined that members of the organized crime group in Yalova and its Armutlu district aimed to expand drug distribution centered in Armutlu and sell the drugs they procured during the tourism season."
Yerlikaya noted in his post that as a result of the operations, unlicensed pistols, pump-action shotguns, and hunting rifles belonging to the organization members, as well as a large quantity of narcotics and numerous rounds of ammunition and full cartridges, were seized.
