Minister Yumaklı announces the latest status on forest fires

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı shared the latest status regarding forest fires across the country with the public.

Making statements via his social media account, Yumaklı announced that the fires in some regions have been brought under control, stating, "The fires in Milas, Muğla and Saruhanlı, Manisa have been completely brought under control, while the fire in Dörtyol, Hatay has been partially contained."

Providing information regarding the ongoing fire in the Dörtyol district of Hatay, Minister Yumaklı said,

"The fire in Hatay / Dörtyol has been partially contained thanks to our ground intervention that continued throughout the night and our aerial intervention that began at daybreak. Our efforts to bring the fire completely under control are continuing without interruption."

Drawing attention to the difficult struggle, Yumaklı concluded his statement with the words, "Despite the challenging weather conditions and the flames, we continue our defense of our #GreenHomeland with all our might."
