Ministry announces figures: Record number of visitors to Anıtkabir on November 10
The Ministry of National Defense announced that a total of 1,219,148 people visited Anıtkabir on November 10. This figure has gone down in history as the highest number of visitors on a November 10 to date.
On the 87th anniversary of the passing of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Anıtkabir was once again flooded by hundreds of thousands of people.
The Ministry of National Defense, to which the Anıtkabir Command is affiliated, shared the visitor statistics obtained at the end of the day with the public.
A RECORD VISIT ONCE AGAIN
According to the Ministry's statement, exactly 1,219,148 people visited Anıtkabir yesterday. This figure set a new record, surpassing the 1,092,000 visitors recorded on November 10 last year.
SURPASSED OCTOBER 29 AS WELL
This year, 1,125,000 people visited Anıtkabir on October 29, Republic Day. The November 10 data exceeded even this figure.
COMMEMORATION MESSAGE FROM THE MINISTRY
In its statement, the Ministry of National Defense said, "We once again commemorate the Founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with mercy, gratitude, and respect on the 87th anniversary of his passing."
