The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry revealed a striking situation with the list of imitation and adulterated products it published on April 16, 2025. In this list, it was determined that irregularities were committed in two different products of a business.
In the analyses conducted, it was determined that equine meat was used in products presented as "beef." In the first finding, while it was claimed that the product was beef, the analyses showed otherwise. Similarly, in the second finding, equine meat was found in red meat declared as beef.
