Ministry had placed a 1 million TL bounty: PKK terrorist Jiyan Opçin, sought in the orange category, killed
PKK terrorist Jiyan Opçin, who was sought in the orange category with a 1 million TL bounty placed by the Ministry of Interior, has been killed.
A group of PKK terrorists determined to be preparing an attack in the Claw-Lock Operation region was detected by an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).
Armed UAVs and Atak attack helicopters were dispatched to the region.
ATTACK ATTEMPT AND SKETCHES DECIPHERED
According to the report in Sözcü, the shelters where the terrorists were located and their probable escape routes were brought under intense fire. During the operation, Jiyan Opçin, who had been engaged in terrorist activities within the mountain cadre of the PKK terrorist organization for 10 years, was killed.
The female terrorist was being sought in the orange category of the Ministry of Interior's most wanted terrorists list, which carries a 1 million lira bounty.
Simple sketches and attack plans related to numerous attempted attacks against the Turkish soldiers stationed in the region were also seized and deciphered from the terrorists' persons and backpacks.
It was determined that the female terrorist was an assassin within the terrorist organization's so-called special forces structure, had received branch training, and provided training to new recruits on bomb-making and the use of heavy weapons that the US sent to the YPG in Syria under the pretext of fighting ISIS.
