Ministry imposes ban on Erden Timur
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has banned RDN Gayrimenkul, owned by Erden Timur, from participating in public tenders for one year.
RDN Gayrimenkul, a company owned by Erden Timur, the former deputy chairman of Galatasaray Sports Club and owner of the NEF construction company, has been banned from public tenders for one year. A tender was held on September 6, 2023, for a project planned by the Adapazarı Municipality in Sakarya, in an area featuring giant ash trees located in the İlyaslar neighborhood. The project included the construction of a country restaurant, a country cafe, a prayer room, and various social facilities, all using wooden materials.
PROJECT LEFT UNFINISHED, PENALTY ISSUED
RDN Gayrimenkul, which won the tender opened with an estimated value of 5 million 100 thousand liras and a 10-year build-operate-transfer model, failed to complete the work despite starting the project. The Adapazarı Municipality reported this situation to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. Under the State Tender Law No. 2886, the Ministry imposed a one-year ban on RDN Gayrimenkul from participating in public tenders. This decision was taken due to the company's failure to fulfill its obligations.
