Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry exposes 31 more brands: Health risks in kashar cheese and sucuk
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has shared its updated list of adulterated and misbranded food products as of February 11. 31 more brands have been exposed, and fraudulent practices posing health risks have been identified in certain food items. Dangerous additives such as vegetable oil in kashar cheese, poultry meat in meatball mixes, and head meat in sucuk were discovered.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has updated its list of food products containing imitation and adulterated ingredients that threaten human health. In the new list, products containing fake and additive substances were published under two separate headings.'Imitation or Adulteration-1' and 'Imitation or Adulteration-2' the list, which is divided into two, revealed fraud in many food products.

The updated list published by the Ministry identified fraud in many products. Here are some striking examples:

Detection of mechanically separated poultry meat in heat-treated chicken sucuk
Detection of poultry meat in lahmacun mix
Detection of poultry meat in meatball mix
Detection of offal (head meat) in sucuk
Food safety experts warn that such products can cause serious harm to human health.
