Ministry of Foreign Affairs evaluates ICJ's Israel ruling
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "We believe that the provisional measures announced by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) constitute a very important opportunity to stop the bloodshed in Palestine."
In a written statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated, "We expect the provisional measures announced today by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding Israel's attacks on the Palestinian people living in Gaza to be implemented immediately and fully by Israel.
"A VERY IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITY"
We believe that the measures announced by the Court constitute a very important opportunity to stop the bloodshed in Palestine."
The statement further noted, "Lasting peace and security in the Middle East can only be achieved through a fair resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian issue based on international law and established parameters. Turkey has the will to provide every possible contribution and effort along this path."
