Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues statement on Spain, Ireland, and Norway's recognition of Palestine!
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "We welcome the announcement by Spain, Ireland, and Norway that they will recognize the State of Palestine."
Countries around the world continue to recognize Palestine. Most recently, Spain, Ireland, and Norway announced that they recognize Palestine as a state.
Following this development, a written statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye said, "We welcome the announcement by Spain, Ireland, and Norway that they will recognize the State of Palestine. The recognition of Palestine is a requirement of international law, justice, and conscience. It is an extremely important step toward the restoration of the usurped rights of the Palestinian people under occupation and for Palestine to attain the status it deserves in the international community."
The statement expressed that Türkiye will continue to exert efforts for more countries to recognize Palestine.
