Ministry of Interior announces: 3 terrorists neutralized in GÜRZ-6 operation

Security forces continue their fight against terrorism across the country with determination and without interruption. In this context, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared the details of another new operation with the public. Minister Yerlikaya announced that 3 terrorists were neutralized along with their weapons in the rural areas of Hakkari.

The statement included the following:

3 TERRORISTS NEUTRALIZED

"Today, we followed and managed the “GÜRZ-6” operation moment by moment from the Ankara Gendarmerie Operations Center, together with our Gendarmerie General Commander, our Generals, Officers, and Non-commissioned Officers. As a result of the operation, 3 terrorists were neutralized, 1 dead and 2 alive.

The terrorist who was neutralized dead continued to challenge our State and resist our heroic Gendarmerie. He met the end he deserved. Two female terrorists who waved a white flag were taken into custody alive.

It was determined that Hacer Tekin, codenamed Armanç Devrim, who was on the Ministry of Interior's Wanted Terrorists List in the ORANGE category, was neutralized dead. Aysel İnce, codenamed Zin, who was determined to be on the Ministry of Interior's Wanted Terrorists List in the GRAY category, was neutralized by being ensured to surrender.

Hebun Hevi, codenamed Adile Zagros Hebun, who was operating as the so-called Van Province YJA-STAR official, was also neutralized by being ensured to surrender."
