Ministry of National Defense: 62 sorties conducted with 4 helicopters in Aliağa forest fire
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that 62 sorties were conducted with 4 helicopters to intervene in the forest fire in the Aliağa district of İzmir.
In a statement made on the ministry's social media account, it was stated, "Our 4 helicopters conducted 62 sorties to effectively intervene from the air in the forest fire that occurred in the Aliağa district of İzmir.
Efforts from the ground and air to bring the fire under control are continuing without interruption."
