Ministry of National Defense: Reports of sirens sounding at Incirlik are false
Claims that siren sounds were heard around the strategically important Incirlik Air Base in Adana have surfaced.
While posts spreading rapidly on social media caused panic, the expected statement came from authorities.
CLAIMS DENIED
In a statement made by Ministry of National Defense sources, it was stated that the claims were not true. The statement said, "Posts are being made on social media claiming that sirens are sounding at Incirlik.
There is no attack or any negative situation. It is assessed to be a false alarm."
